钢套钢蒸汽直埋保温管的外钢管的防腐层是选择3层PE防腐，还是做三油两布，又或者是玻璃钢防腐以及聚脲防腐等，都要根据设计要求来确定。而其内钢管一般选择环氧富锌底漆多层涂刷，也可以选择价格相对较高，耐温可达600摄氏度的防腐底漆。
钢套钢蒸汽直埋保温管的多层软质保温材料按错缝布置，分段采用镀锌钢带捆扎，保温管内均匀布置隔热导向支架。直管段及管件的加工防腐完成后需经质量检测验收，产品合格后方可出厂。
